Booze binger fined

A DRINKER who reacted violently when police interrupted his outdoor booze binge has been fined £125 for breaching the peace.

Jobless Owen McLaughlin, 23, of Livingston, ended up struggling with the officers on the ground.

Yesterday his lawyer, Gerry Whitten, told Livingston Sheriff Court that McLaughlin's conduct was "inexcusable".
