Body of missing diver recovered from Moray Firth

The body of a missing diver has been recovered from the Moray Firth.

Police divers were called following reports of a missing 60-year-old diving off Tarbet Ness on Sunday.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We can confirm that the body of a 60-year-old male has been recovered following a search by police divers in the Moray Firth on Monday.”

“As with all sudden deaths a report will be submitted in due course to the Procurator Fiscal in relation to the incident.”
