Body found in Lucia Piacentini search
A BODY has been found in the search for missing Glasgow woman Lucia Piacentini.
Police Scotland confirmed that a member of the public found the body of a woman in the city’s Linn Park at around 4:35pm on Sunday. Piacentini has been missing from her home in the Cathcart area of Glasgow since 28 July.
Further tests are to be carried out, but police say they believe the body is that of Ms Piacentini. Police say there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
Relatives have been informed, and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
