Body found in hunt for missing Livingston man

POLICE hunting for a missing man have discovered a body in woods close to his home.

David Rogers, 47, of Ladywell in Livingston, has been missing since Thursday.

The body of a male was discovered in a wooded area near his home between Livingston’s Starlaw and Tailend roundabouts at around 7.30pm last night.

Inquiries are ongoing to determine the man’s identity and establish the full circumstances surrounding his death.

Police Scotland said Mr Rogers’ family have been informed of the discovery and will be kept fully updated with the progress of the inquiry.
