Body found in hunt for missing Hungarian student

POLICE on the Isle of Lewis involved in the search for a missing Hungarian man have uncovered a body.

Human remains were uncovered in the Dail Mòr area of the Outer Hebrides islands on Saturday although no formal identification has

been made.

Northern Constabulary say no further details will be released until a formal identification of the deceased takes place.

Coastguard cliff rescue teams, the Stornoway helicopter and a lifeboat all took part in recovering the man’s body.

A police spokesperson said a post-mortem examination will take place.

Police in the Western Isles have been searching for Tamas Gador who went missing after going camping on Lewis. He had last been seen on Lewis a week ago.

Mr Gador’s father Peter flew in from Hungary to assist in the search.
