Body found in Castle Douglas car park identified
Police have identified the body of a man found in the car park of a bank.
James or Jim Tweedie, 67, from Old Mill Court in Castle Douglas, was found outside the Royal Bank of Scotland in the town’s Church Street at about 8.20am yesterday.
The procurator fiscal has been informed of the death and there are no suspicious circumstances.
