Body 'of drowned canoeist' found

A BODY believed to be that of a canoeist who drowned in the Lake District at the weekend was recovered yesterday.

The victim, believed to be a male in his late teens, vanished on Ullswater lake on Saturday.

A search was launched involving police divers and a Coastguard team,

and a body was recovered by divers in the early hours yesterday.
