Blaze hits industrial site

DOZENS of firefighters tackled a huge blaze at derelict industrial buildings last night.

Crews rushed to three buildings in Lower Bathville, Armadale, just before 7.45pm after receiving emergency calls about a large fire.

More than 40 firefighters using breathing apparatus with hose reels battled to put out the blaze, which was extinguished after several hours.

There were no reports of casualties.

Control teams said a “watching brief” of firefighters remained on station this morning.
