Bike challenge to mark 90th

THREE ex-soldiers have set off from Edinburgh Castle to cycle 400 miles to Wootton Bassett to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Royal British Legion Scotland.

With a combined age over 200, Mick McKeown, 74, Charlie Brown, 64, and Kenny Campbell, 65 hope to reach the Wiltshire village by Sunday in time to attend a service.

They are carrying a goodwill message from Lord Provost George Grubb to present to Wootton Bassett's mayor.
