Big guns out for salute to Her Majesty

GUNNERS from 105 Regiment Royal Artillery (Volunteers) fired a 21-gun Royal Salute at Edinburgh Castle yesterday at noon to celebrate the anniversary of the coronation of Her Majesty The Queen.

Commanding Officer of 105 Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel Chris Huthwaite, said it was a fitting tribute to the Queen.

He added: "As ever, the troops conducting the royal salute for Her Majesty's coronation have trained hard."
