Big fan set to snap up art

CLARE Kennedy admires an artwork set to be sold at Sotheby’s.

The Red Fan by Scottish Colourist Francis Campbell is part of a British and Irish collection which went on show today at the Dovecot Studios, Infirmary Street, ahead of a sale in London next month.

Expected to sell for between £250,000 and £300,000, The Red Fan was first bought for £35 in Edinburgh in 1930.
