Big cab firm starts service for women

Glasgow Taxis has launched a personalised female account to provide a safe service to women during the busy Christmas period.

The black taxi company, the largest in the UK outside London, said it felt duty bound to protect women who can become vulnerable when left searching for a taxi in the street late at night.
