Biagi backs building talks

EDINBURGH Central MSP Marco Biagi has backed a new consultation process that allows residents to help shape the city’s future.

People in the Capital are being invited by the Scottish Government to have their say on architecture and the built environment for years to come.

The SNP member said it would mean “no more St James Centres would be allowed to happen”. Mr Biagi said: “With renowned architecture and a World Heritage Site, Edinburgh residents know well how important it is to have well-designed places to live and work. Unfortunately, Edinburgh is also home to a number of outrageous eyesores.”
