What's your top beauty product?

For the body, the Universal Contour Wrap home care (DIY) kit – it's just brilliant for smoothing out thighs before going on holiday. For the face, I like Germaine de Capuccini Timexpert cream

Do you have a beauty tip?

My motto is "cleanse, tone and moisturise".

What are your best and worst features?

I still have a waist and a flat stomach, but the worst has to be my backside. I really need to do a few more squats and lunges each day.

Biggest beauty disaster?

Trying to apply fake tan myself. There is nothing worse than an orange, streaky mess.

Would you ever consider having cosmetic surgery?

Yes, but I'm squeamish after having seen programmes on the TV.

What's in your bathroom cabinet?

Cleanser, toner, exfoliating facial scrub and day, night, neck and eye creams. Face mask, body-firming gel, bath salts and paracetamol, cotton wool and nail polish remover.

How long do you take to get ready in the morning?

I can do it in 45 minutes.

What's your favourite item of clothing?

My snuggly Ugg boots and sloppy jogging bottoms.

Do you prefer a real or bottled tan?

Real is better, but only if you don't risk your skin. I use the 48-hour tan from Germaine. It develops an amazing tan quite naturally and quickly.

Who is your fashion/beauty idol?

Angelina Jolie – she is so stunning. And Cheryl Cole looks fantastic too.

If there was one thing you could change about your face/body, what would it be?

I'd get my teeth slightly straightened and whitened. Seriously, I think you are fortunate if you have good health, and we should be thankful for what we have rather than fret about what we don't like.

Is there anything you'd be too frightened to have done?

Botox. Does anyone else feel it isn't quite right to have botulism injected into your face?
