Be prepared to see Scouts

Scouts who gave up their summer holidays to build facilities at a village in Malawi will tell of their African adventure on television.

Eleven teenagers from Edinburgh were among 40 Scouts from across Scotland to travel to Malawi, where they worked on construction projects aimed at improving facilities run by their Malawi Scout counterparts.

Four of them – Ben Thompson, 18, Sean Miller, 17, Jamie Cunningham, 16, and Laurie Clarke, 17 – filmed their experiences in a series of video diaries that will be screened on BBC2 at 7pm on Wednesday.
