Battle of the bar brains

Pubs in Edinburgh will this week receive invitations to join NSPCC Scotland’s new fundraising competition, the Great Edinburgh Pub Quiz.

The children’s charity is 
calling on people across the city to get into teams and take part in the fundraising quiz on October 16.

The event will see pubs across Edinburgh compete against each other in a city-wide quiz to be named Edinburgh’s Brainiest Pub.

Organisers hope up to 30 pubs will compete, raising £2500 for the charity’s ChildLine service.
