Bars put on the market
TWO former Punch Tavern pubs in the Lothians have gone the market.
The Railway Tavern in Penicuik is up for grabs for £250,000, while the Dalmeny Bar in Leith Walk is available from £185,000, according to property agent CDLH.
The Dalmeny Bar, which was said to have been among the area’s first, is described as a traditional pub with an “easily-managed” single bar operation, while the Railway Tavern is said to occupy a “first-class” trading location in Penicuik’s high street.
The Penicuik premises also include a large three-bedroom flat as well as a yard that could be used as a beer garden or additional seating area.
