Bar on new patients due to vomiting bug

FOUR wards at Glasgow Royal Infirmary are not admitting new patients due to an increased incidence of a diarrhoea and vomiting bug.

A total of 14 patients in the wards are showing the symptoms of norovirus. Infection control managers say the outbreak is "not unusual" and they are monitoring the situation closely.
