Bag thief drags woman along street

A WOMAN was dragged along the road after thieves attempted to take her bag in Edinburgh.

The incident happened in St Mary's Street, when the 22-year-old victim was called over to a car containing three men.

One of the men grabbed her bag, and the vehicle was driven away, dragging her a short distance as she kept hold of the bag.
