Bad break for snooker club sees it close

The Eskdale Terrace club will close tomorrow for a two week refit, and re-open as Bonnyrigg Sports Bar.

Owner Mike Leslie said: "Our options were closing it down and leaving a derelict building or changing it into something else."

The club offered reduced or free memberships to youths, pensioners and those with special needs, and produced seven top junior players.
