Baboons roll out the barrel

TWO of the guinea baboons at Edinburgh Zoo were getting a closer look at one of the beer barrels added to their enclosure as part of a revamp.

Keepers at the zoo installed new vertical climbing logs for the 37 baboons to play on, as well as laying out new grass with sunflower seeds and plants for them to eat, and the barrels, which were donated by a local distillery.

The enclosure has been designed to replicate their natural habitat as closely as possible and keep them stimulated.
