Awards hail family projects

A GHOST story with serious messages about bullying, a scheme that gets dads to encourage their children to read, and a project supporting children’s mental wellbeing have all won awards for their work.

The council’s Achievement Awards ceremony has recognised some of the best projects supporting children and families across the city.

Children and families leader Councillor Marilyne MacLaren said: “It is important that we recognise all of the excellent work that goes on to improve the lives of young people and the dedication of those who are making a real impact in Edinburgh’s communities.”
