Attacker's nose may be broken

A MAN who was assaulted by two men in Leith is thought to have broken the nose of one of his attackers.

The 29-year-old victim was walking home after a nightshift when he was approached from behind by the two men.

A struggle took place in which the victim was punched in the face and kicked.

The suspects tried to rob the man but were unsuccessful.

The assault took place on Academy Street just after 7am on Tuesday.
