Atomic summit set for next week

A WORLDWIDE effort to learn the lessons of the Fukushima nuclear plant crisis will see representatives from 151 nations meet in Vienna next week.

International Atomic Energy Agency chief Yukiya Amano will attempt to achieve agreement on a strategy to address public concern about the risks posed by nuclear energy, after the Japanese plant was hit by the 11 March tsunami. The meeting will last four days from 20 June.
