Asbestos scare for firefighters

A FIRE broke out in a farm building laden with asbestos in Midlothian on Saturday. Eight fire appliances tackled the blaze, which broke out at Warriston Farm in Currie at about 4pm.

A spokeswoman for Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue said there was a large diesel tank at the side of the building and that no-one was involved in the fire.
