Arts hit out at violence

An arts event marking the start of the campaign to reduce violence against women is to be held in Livingston.

The Art for Equality event is timed to mark 16 Days of Action on Violence Against Women, and takes place at the Howden Park Centre on November 25.

It will feature the work of young people in raising awareness of equality through art.

Children have put together a short play, drawings, posters and sculptures, which will all be on display.
