Art but not by the book

A NEW art show called This is Not an Exhibition is being shown in Edinburgh Central Library.

The works, by artists from Edinburgh College of Art, have been created using a range of media. Rather than turn the library into an exhibition, the works are designed to be displayed within unique spaces in the building.

The exterior windows on George IV Bridge and Victoria Street will be used to house a series of large-scale paintings, which aim to exploit the different viewpoints available to passing pedestrians.
