Arrest after raid on cannabis ‘farm’

POLICE have arrested a man after raiding an alleged cannabis farm at a home in Edinburgh.

The 50-year-old was charged under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

Lothian and Borders Police carried out a search of a property in Buccleuch Street, where 35 plants were recovered along with various items used for cultivating them.

A four-figure sum of cash was seized, along with £18,000 worth of cannabis, police said.
