Armed robbers steal thousands

ARMED robbers threatened security guards with a firearm and a knife before fleeing with a five-figure sum.

The two guards, aged 35 and 41, were filling a cash machine in Main Street, East Kilbride when they were approached by two men, yesterday at 7.15am.
