Apprentice candidate: I'm fired … but I've learned to chill out'

Fired Apprentice candidate Laura Moore has claimed the experience had taught her to "chill out".

The 22-year-old business development manager was constantly seen losing her temper on the BBC1 show, clashing with her fellow candidates and having many heated arguments and rants.

Ms Moore said: "The learning experiences for me were very much about how you approach people in business. I've lowered my tone a lot. I think I've learned to just chill out a bit really.

"I took it all very seriously. I got really frustrated when I saw the task going down a path I didn't think was right.

"There's a lot of calming of personality that's happened."

The girls team, Apollo, lost Lord Sugar's Treasure Hunt task by 70 despite finding all ten items on the list.

While the boys incurred heavy fines for failing to buy everything, the girls team failed to haggle for the best prices for their bargains.

Ms Moore was fired despite trying to haggle while team mates Stella English and project manager Liz Locke held back on negotiating prices.

But she said: "On the task, I don't think the blame was placed on me. But I was against two very strong contenders. Unfortunately one of us had to go."
