Appeal over missing bag

POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a handbag containing methadone and diazepam tablets which was left at a bus stop.

The brown canvas shoulder bag was left at the stop in Dalkeith’s High Street between 2.40pm and 2.45pm on Tuesday.

A police spokesman said: “The medication should only be taken by the individual it is prescribed to. Anyone who finds the bag or its contents should contact police immediately.”
