Appeal after woman attacked in Highland village

POLICE have issued an appeal after an early morning attack on a young woman in the seaside village of Balintore in the Highlands.

The suspect in the incident which occurred at Lochslin Place at 4.30am on Saturday is described as possibly wearing glasses on the back of his head.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: ”We are appealing for anyone who saw or heard anything that might be connected to this incident to contact them.

Police are keen to trace “a man described as 5 feet 9 inches tall with mousy brown shortish hair”. The man spoke with a Scottish accent, and was possibly wearing glasses on the back of his head, according to police.
