America: Man shot after Christmas Day row

Police shot and killed a man on Christmas Day after he refused to drop his shotgun and headed toward a group of people outside a Mormon Temple in the state of Utah, it was revealed yesterday.

The man had been in an altercation in the temple carpark, police said.
