All Midlothian schools stay closed

ALL schools in Midlothian will remain closed today following a decision last night by the local council. A decision has yet to be taken as to whether the schools can reopen tomorrow.

A council statement said: "Heavier than expected snowfall has made routes round schools hazardous."
