All for a good Claus

There were some very brave Santas out and about in the blizzard conditions that hit the Capital yesterday, as dozens of volunteers started to get in shape for the Great Scottish Santa Run.

Joining them for the extreme-weather training was Edinburgh's marathon man Mark Cooper, who was helping the snowy Santas get in shape for the event, this coming Sunday, December 12.

Organisers are hoping more than 2000 Santas will turn out for the 1.5 km jog in West Princes Street Gardens, which will raise money for the charity When You Wish Upon A Star, which grants wishes to terminally ill children.
