Produced by the Grammy and Brit Award-winning Bernard Butler, and recorded in Edwyn Collins's studio, this is an almost nonchalantly impressive first album from the 19-year-old singer-songwriter.

Grab Me By The Collar is, ironically, slow to convince but by the title track and Minds On Other Things, the album's momentum is hard to resist.

Having No-one introduces a darker shade to Tommy's naturally sunny disposition, the slight depression compounded by Just Like The Weather.

The writing is very mature, occasionally insightful; the sparkle and spirit infectious.
