Airship fails
to take off

Technical problems have prevented an airship from taking part in the East Lothian airshow.

The state-of-the-art Lindstrand HS110 Hot Air Airship was due to take to the skies at the event at the National Museum of Flight, East
Fortune.

East Fortune was home to the airships of the First World War. On the ground, there will be motocross and circus displays and a chance to meet a Concorde pilot. Grant MacKenzie, National Museum of Flight’s general manager, said: “This year’s airshow has a fantastic line-up of
entertainment.”
