Aegon boost
for charities

STAFF at a financial giant have handed over tens of thousands of pounds to charity after a series of fundraising events.

Workers at Aegon’s headquarters at Edinburgh Park held dress-down days, quizzes, raffles and even a mini Olympics. They raised £28,500 for Down’s Syndrome Scotland, Kindred – which works with patients at the Sick Kids Hospital – and Macmillan Cancer Support, a sum later doubled by the company. The charities each received £19,000 at a presentation ceremony.
