Stephen Green has already left the Capital for Nepal and will begin climbing the 8,848-metre high mountain within the next couple of weeks.
The 23-year-old is raising money for cancer charities following the death of his father Raymond from the illness.

Hide AdAdventurer Sir Ranulph Fiennes, who in May 2009 at the age of 65 climbed to the summit of Mount Everest, said: "Stephen is an inspiring young man and I am proud to support Stephen on his adventure to the top of the world.
