Addict carried drugs in court

A HEROIN addict who arrived at court for a progress report on his drug treatment had 
cannabis in his pocket.

Barry Shihada was found to be carrying three grams of the class B drug, worth about £20, Livingston Sheriff Court was told.

Shihada, 28, of Fauldhouse, West Lothian, yesterday pleaded guilty to being in possession of cannabis on January 23. He was on bail at the time.

Sentence was deferred until next month.
