Abused men find voices

A CHARITY which focuses on raising awareness of domestic abuse against men has praised victims for speaking out.

The newly-formed Abused Men in Scotland charity used their accounts as part of a Scottish Parliament petition.

The Edinburgh-based organisation paid tribute to those involved.

A spokeswoman said: "We thank the brave men who spoke openly about their experiences.

"We appreciate how difficult it was for them to do so and hope their trust in the sincerity of all those present will be justified."
