Sergeant Allen Shaw, of the Aberdeen Division of Police Scotland, said: “This warrant was executed as part of our on-going work to tackle drugs, violence and anti-social behaviour under Operation Maple. The recovery of goods was significant and shows the success of this operation on a wider scale, with regards to tackling crime.

“We successfully recovered these items as part of our work with trading standards and the results will hopefully act as a deterrent to those committing these types of crimes; highlighting that they will not be tolerated.”

He added: “”It is important that the public understand the, at times, complex make-up of serious and organised crime. Those involved in counterfeit goods are equally involved in supporting organised crime. Many might think a bargain designer item is just that, however it is often linked to other types of criminal behaviour.”
