A9 closed again after lorry fire
The incident followed three fatal crashes in which a total of five people died.
A Co-op delivery truck caught fire at 12:15am yesterday close to the Granish junction, with diversions through Carrbridge until 4:30pm.

Hide AdHowever, lorries had to be escorted past the blaze site because of a low bridge on the diversion route. The cause of the fire on the lorry has still to be established.
On 1 June, two lorry drivers were killed near Calvine, while a week later a van driver and his passenger died near Ralia after it collided with a bus en route to the RockNess music festival. A crash between two lorries on 16 June near Bannockburn led to the death of one of the drivers.
