59-year-old man dies in A907 car crash near Alloa

A MAN has died in a road collision near Alloa in Clackmannanshire, police have said.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We were called to a road accident on the A907 at Helensfield, near Alloa in Clackmannanshire, at 8.42am.

“A 59-year-old male driver of a blue Nissan Qashqai died as a result of the collision.

“The road was closed for approximately three hours to allow for a full collision investigation. We are appealing for witnesses.”
