40 firefighters tackle church blaze

More than 40 firefighters tackled a blaze at an Edinburgh church last night. Crews were called to Elim Rock Church in Morningside Road at 7:05pm.

The fire was said to have broken out in the building’s roof space. A spokeswoman for Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service said the blaze was put out quickly and there were no reports of any injuries.
