32-year-old man dies after stabbing

A MAN has died after allegedly being stabbed in a fight, police have said.

The victim, 32, who has not yet been named, died from stab wounds following an “altercation” in a house in Glasgow.

Police were called after reports of a disturbance in the property on Everard Drive, close to Ashgill Road, in the Springburn area in the north of the city, yesterday. They arrived at shortly after 3am to discover the man had been fatally wounded in a fight.

A 62-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the attack. He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court tomorrow.
