270 jobs added in salmon industry

Scotland’s salmon industry landed more than 270 new jobs last year. A new report from the Scottish Salmon Producers’ Organisation also highlighted a record £47.6 million of capital investment.

The bumper year saw the creation of 272 jobs and a 23 per cent growth in total gross pay, according to an industry report.
