250 warm to winter health

AROUND 250 people attended a winter health promotion at West Lothian College.

Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service held the wellbeing event to help give tips on how to keep fit and healthy this winter.

Spinal and extremity health checks were provided by the Wright Chiropractic Clinic.

Elspeth Lee, occupational health adviser for the fire service, said: "Popular with visitors were the Wii Fit activities, games, and the winter soup tasters, made from local produce. There was also advice on how to boost your immune system with everyday foods."
