12 months added to prisoner's sentence for attack

A PRISONER at Addiewell has had 12 months added to his sentence after he threw scalding water over a prisoner who was bullying him.

Tommy Braithewaite also stabbed the other man twice in the back with a makeshift weapon, Livingston Sheriff Court heard.

Braithewaite, 21, attacked fellow prisoner James Murray in the prison's food servery on December 11 last year.
