Airborne Lens have released a drone 360 Video of the Glasgow Science Centre, float above the Clyde River and then on to ScottishPower’s Whitelee Windfarm which allows the viewer to navigate to different viewpoints.

Also included in the video is a 360 static panoramas of the University of Glasgow, Calton Hill in Edinburgh and the Strathtay valley.

Liam Anderstrem, Creative Director at Airborne Lens, said: “360 Video is extremely popular right now, it is one of the most shareable content formats, and with the availability of Virtual Reality headsets now far more mainstream than ever before, we see it as a massive growth industry. Not that you need a VR Headset, with Facebook and YouTube now both streaming 360 video straight to smartphones and computer. We aim to play a leading role in 360 video technology, and have built a strong partner network with the UK’s leading 360 producers and VR experts.”

The above video was filmed by Airborne Lens in collaboration with M7 Virtual.
